چکیده
Abstract The present study aimed to evaluate the changes in concentrations of some biochemical parameters, as well macro and microscopic alterations during Eimeria stiedae infection rabbits. experiment was performed using 12 three-month-old healthy rabbits, randomly allocated into 2 equal groups: G1 (controls, uninfected animals) G2 (rabbits infected with E. ). Blood samples were collected at time zero (prior infection), 6 th , 24 48 hours, also 7 14 21 st 28 days after infection. After sampling, blood centrifuged, plasma separated frozen -20 ºC until analyzed. Thawed used for quantitative determination haptoglobin (Hp), total protein (TP), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine (ALT), gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), cholesterol (TC), bilirubin (TBIL), urea, creatinine (CREA). results rabbits revealed a significant increase Hp, AST, ALT, GGT, TBIL, TC levels, decrease ALP urea. A weak hyperproteinemia observed. There no CREA concentration. At end clinical investigation, all humanely euthanized necropsied. post-mortem examination group hepatomegaly, multifocal yellowish nodules diffusely spread over liver surface parenchyma, considerably dilated bile ducts, biliary hyperplasia. Given obtained from this experiment, it can be affirmed that hepatic eimeriosis is severe parasitic disease leading disturbances histology resulting profile

Phostoxin-induced biochemical and pathomorphological changes in rabbits.
The effect of chronic phostoxin administration on some tissue ATPases, hematology and tissue histopathology was investigated using a combination of gravimetric, enzymatic, colorimetric and histological procedures in New Zealand White rabbits after 2 weeks administration of 0.8mg phostoxin/kg body weight/day, po. The phostoxin treatment led to significant decreases in Na(+)-K+ ATPase activities ...
متن کاملEffect of Camel Milk on Oxidative Stresses in Experimentally Induced Diabetic Rabbits
Camel milk has an importance in the treatment of diabetes. It has been shown that the patients who drink camel milk daily, their need to insulin decrease. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the effect of camel milk in comparison with insulin treatment in experimentally-induced diabetes. This study was carried out on forty male New Zealand rabbits, divided into four groups with ten rabbi...
متن کاملEffect of experimentally induced subchronic selenosis on thyroid hormones and biochemical indices in calves
The present investigation was performed to determine the effect of long-term administration of sodium selenite on the biochemical indices and concentration of thyroid hormones in calves. Sodium selenite solution was drenched at 0.1 and 0.25 mg per kg body weight for 12 weeks. Higher dose produced characteristic symptoms of selenosis whereas mild symptoms were observed with lower dose. The toxic...
